Check out this website http://www.foldinmoney.com I have given their cake design as a gift for weddings. You can customize the amount you give I have given a cake worth 50 dollars and up. The cool part is it can be taken apart and spent. These were easy to put together and they ship flat, remember to tell them to spend it. Best of luck for you

You could make a food item and can it (i.e. homemade salsa, jelly, etc.) Something else might be a scrapbook of pictures of the bride and groom, or even go on shutterfly.com or one of those sites and they help you produce a printed book of photos. You could also go to one of those paint your own pottery shops and make a set of plates or a pair of coffee mugs with something specific to the couple on it. If you don’t make the gift, you could make a card out of handmade paper with pressed, dried flowers.
I like to buy things unique to my area, such as locally made pottery, or once I bought someone a wooden bowl made from a Cyprus tree in our area. Often you can find this type of thing in a little main street type gallery, or google locally made goods for your area.

I get a nice picture fame made for people. its easy all you have to do is find a place locally that engraves on glass and go to the shop with the wedding invite in hand ask them to transfer the invite to a curved picture frame, that is a 5×7 on one side and a blank 5×7 space on the other. they look amazing when done.

What about a spa weekend for two? Or at least a day where they can both be pampered. If you want to make something, make something you’re good at. Arts and crafts don’t usuallly go over too well, plus then they feel compelled to display your gift even though they hate it.

If you’re REALLY close to them (or at least to the bride) give them sexy lingerie for her, i did that for my one of my best friends and she loved the present! (and im sure the groom liked it as well lolz)

If are close to them, what about a sex toy of the month club membership? This they will both enjoy for months to come…
